Poor Baby Monkey! Fall into the River and Need Saving
One hot, sunny day in the jungle, little Milo the monkey was playing near the riverbank. He loved splashing in the water and chasing butterflies. Suddenly, Milo slipped on a wet rock and fell into the rushing river!
The little monkey was frightened and started to cry loudly. His tiny voice echoed through the jungle: “Help! Help!” Milo’s eyes were wide with fear as the strong current pulled him further away from the safety of the shore.
Hearing his cries, Laura, the kind girl who was passing by, heard the urgent sound. She ran to the riverbank and saw Milo struggling in the water. Without hesitation, she quickly grabbed a long stick and reached out towards him. “Hold on, Milo! I’m coming!” she shouted.
Milo was shivering and scared, but he saw Laura’s kind face and knew she was there to help. He reached out with his little paws and grabbed the stick. Laura carefully pulled him out of the water, gently holding the soaked, shivering monkey.
Once safely on the shore, Milo kept crying, trembling from the shock. Laura wrapped him in her scarf and whispered softly, “It’s okay, little one. You’re safe now. You’re a brave monkey, and we’ll take care of you.”
Milo’s tears slowly stopped as he snuggled into Laura’s arms. The jungle animals gathered around, happy that Milo was safe. The wise old elephant said, “Every animal must be careful near the water. But today, Milo’s courage and Laura’s quick help saved him.”
From that day on, Milo learned to be more careful near the river, and everyone knew that true friendship and bravery could save the day.
